On Trestensvej in Skælskør, a mixed residential area is being created with 34 apartments in circular houses and 24 homes in terraced houses. KHR Architecture is the architectural consultant for the social housing company Bo-Vita and the property company Trestensvej ApS, who have joined forces on the social part of the project in a delegated client model.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Sandkjær and Svanen Development. In addition to the 58 homes, green common areas and a community centre will be created to create a good community on Trestensvej.
KHR Architecture's client consultancy has acted as buyer advisor to the pension fund PenSam in connection with the acquisition of 78 condominiums and 15 parking spaces in the fine functionalist residential block Dronningegården in central Copenhagen. KHR Architecture has performed a due diligence building review of the total 6,462 square metres of rental space, including a drone inspection of the roofs of the listed buildings from 1943 and 1956. The buyer counselling also included guidance on operation and maintenance budgets.
Gartnerhaven is a new green residential area where KHR Architecture will design 18,000 square metres of housing. Elisabeth Jeppesen, responsible for urban planning, has been involved right from the start with the development of a new masterplan for the area.
Now, preparations are being made to realise the local plan, with KHR Architecture acting as architectural consultant for property developer Core Bolig X, which is developing one of the four building plots in Gartnerhaven.
Spread across three different building typologies, a total of 192 new apartments and 32 townhouses will be created.
Hvidovrevejs Butikstorv is to be renewed and the area extended with an additional 8400 sqm for housing, business and parking.
KHR Architecture has designed a terraced building with 86 new apartments based on an efficient modular concept. The community is supported by a community centre and a green courtyard, while the local environment is enhanced by a new urban square. The plan is to give a facelift to the existing buildings, so that the development has a uniform look.
The vision for Kregmehusene is to create a special place that appeals to diversity and community. A place where people of all ages and backgrounds will be able to live out their dreams in a good, safe and community-oriented setting, where fellow human beings, nature and sustainability are key elements of the life that is lived.
The development will be approximately 16,500 m² with a combination of public and private housing in a delegated developer model.
MAAN Rental will expand their commercial property in Nordhavnen with more square meters for commercial use as well as two residential floors and a roof terrace. In close dialogue with the owners, KHR has developed a mixed-use project where existing and new architecture enrich each other.
Ceresvej 19 is a newly built private residence in a classic residential neighbourhood in Frederiksberg. To fit into the neighbourhood, the architecture of the house draws on classic elements but reinterprets them to create an aesthetically and functionally modern house.
In 2021, the villa was awarded a prize for its architecture by Frederiksberg Municipality.
Salamanderhusene is a residential development consisting of apartments and townhouses.
The development is located at
Salamander Lake and creates
a harmonious transition from landscape to city. The dwellings are built on different levels, following the slope of the landscape to the north, away from Salamander Lake. The gradient is further emphasised by the layout of the dwellings with two storeys towards the lake, and the higher partly three-storey dwellings with roof terraces towards the city.
