The building is a representative of the conservation value of a "raw" area

The four facades of the building have been restored to the original large windows and plastered facade, making it a building that represents what is worthy of preservation in an area with newer commercial buildings. As part of the renovation, new aluminium windows were installed, with profiles and glazing that closely match the original windows.

Raw factory building with high ceilings

The property at Prags Boulevard 80 on Amager in Copenhagen was built in 1940 as a production building for Philips and was converted to commercial use in 1979. The building is constructed of plastered reinforced concrete and is designed as a square building with the west wing set back on the site. There are street facades facing Prags Boulevard, Strandlodsvej and Holmbladsgade.

Attractive commercial spaces for a variety of businesses

Old factory buildings with high ceilings, large windows and slender transoms where the light pours in have been in demand for several years. The renovation has therefore turned the old building into an attractive commercial space for modern businesses, while preserving the building mass for the benefit of the environment and a diverse cityscape.
