At the beginning of August, five talented architecture students were given a place here at the design studio, where they are further developing the winning project from the "Youth Housing of the Future" competition, with sparring from Partner, Prof. Jan Søndergaard MAA.
At the beginning of August, five talented architecture students were given a place here at the design studio, where they are further developing the winning project from the "Youth Housing of the Future" competition, with sparring from Partner, Prof. Jan Søndergaard MAA.
A collaboration between KADK, Copenhagen Carpenters Guild, Copenhagen Technical Schools, Fiberline and KHR Architects forms the basis for the project now entering a new phase, in which the housing will be further developed and designed. In addition, Vicki Thake, a PhD fellow, is associated with the project, where she contributes to the understanding of the composite material and production methods.
The generic bocelle will be built and exhibited in Copenhagen's Rådhuspladsen at the end of the year.The five architecture students are: Oliver Mogensen, Oliver Lehrmann, Nichlas Heunicke, Johanna Sigurðardóttir & Marie Morsing. Read articles about the project here :
