Overview

Ballehvileren (literally: butt rest) is the result of KHR's holistic focus on architecture and design. In connection with the design of the metro stations for the Copenhagen Metro, KHR Architecture designed both the Ballehvileren and the Metro clock, which both functionally and aesthetically match the Copenhagen metro stations.

"There are no more than four minutes between trains in the Copenhagen Metro. The "butt rest" underlines the short stay of passengers at the stations - that the traveller is on a dynamic journey."
