On Thursday 10/9/15, KHR architects went on a study trip to Oslo and Bergen. The trip took place by plane to Bergen, train from Bergen to Oslo on Norway's most beautiful train line and ferry from Oslo to Copenhagen on the legendary ''Oslobåd''. One of the main purposes of the trip was to visit a number of the firm's projects in Bergen. We visited the construction site of the project ''BUS I - Barne- og ungdomssjukehuset Haukeland'', one of KHR architects' major hospital projects. From there we went to the AdO Arena and Amalie Skram Secondary School - a new and beautiful swimming stadium and a high school in one building.In Oslo we had the obligatory and exciting tour of the Opera, and the Oslo Culture Festival, before the next day we went back to Copenhagen by ferry.On the Oslo boat we had our annual - and a bit delayed - summer party, which included a communal dinner and great concerts.Read more about our projects here: BUS I - Children and Youth Hospital, Haukeland, Bergen, stage 1 & AdO Arena & Amalie Skram Secondary School
