KHR Architecture is an evolving design studio. We have assignments in Denmark, Norway, Greenland, Germany and the USA.
KHR Architecture is located in the beautiful old gunboat halls on Holmen in Copenhagen, where we currently have about 85 employees. We have a diverse composition with many nationalities of all ages.
We have exciting projects and activities in Germany. We have just won a major school competition in Berlin, and we compete on several other public tasks. We are therefore looking for architects and building designers who understand and speak German, preferably with experience of German projects or employment in similar positions in Germany.
Architect
You have solid experience in the role of case architect, and you have knowledge of the German project phases (Leistungsphasen 1-9 nach HOAI), German building regulations, etc. With a persistent focus on architectural quality, you will lead the project team to successfully complete all phases of the project.
You will ensure that there is ongoing relevant dialogue and alignment of expectations with the client, authorities, partners and colleagues on the project, and you will know how to make the best use of each individual's skills and expertise to ensure good dynamics in the project theme.
You speak and write German and have the desire and flexibility to travel to or stay for a period in Germany (Berlin).
Design architects and building designers
You are an architect or building designer with a minimum of 3 years experience. You are professionally sound and have experience with major projects. You have an understanding of structures and architecture, and you are able to follow up creative ideas with convincing architectural and technical solutions. You are structured and work independently. You have design experience in Revit, AutoCad and possibly ArchiCad.
You speak and write German and may have the desire and flexibility to live in Germany (Berlin) for a period of time.
Sketching architects
For our concept department we are looking for sketching architects who want to win competitions.
You have experience of working on competitions, you are highly motivated, can develop exciting concepts and are confident in design. You are a team player and understand competitions as a team sport. You can at least read and understand competition material in German and are a user/superuser of e.g. Adobe package, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCad and V-Ray.
