Overview

With its proposal for Hannemanssparken, KHR won an international architectural competition for a new master plan for a visionary and innovative urban district in Ørestad South. 90,000 m2 of both commercial and residential space were to radically reinterpret the historic city and its labyrinthine structure, but in a controlled manner. As in the historic city, the emphasis is on squares and meeting places - all the way up the floors.
