KHR has advised the property investor AEW on the acquisition of Copenhagen Cargo Centre and has since acted as project manager for the construction of an additional 5,000 square metre hall, overseen the refurbishment of the existing 26,500 square metres, and led a wayfinding-oriented façade refurbishment. KHR’s client consultants have carried out technical and environmental due diligence, managed the planning permission process, handled construction economics, schedules and sustainability certification.

CCC has an attractive location right next to Copenhagen Airport. KHR advised AEW prior to the acquisition based on technical and environmental due diligence, as well as budget and schedule to expand with an additional 5000 sqm hall.
Since then, we have managed the construction of a new 5,000 m² logistics hall, assisted with LEED Platinum certification, and designed and managed the refurbishment of the existing 26,500 m².

The façade shows the way
The grey hall has been given a makeover in shades of blue that complement the blue hues of the Øresund. Large-scale graphics on the façade make it easy for visitors and haulage companies to find their way around.
A key element in improving wayfinding, operations and the user experience in a complex logistics environment involving many stakeholders and a high level of activity.
