KHR and the other consortium (WHR and Arup) are now in the process of finalising the layout proposal for the new emergency building at Bispebjerg Hospital. To assist with this major task, KHR has recruited civ.ing. Søren Svare as Project Director responsible for the overall coordination and customer contact. Søren comes from a position as project manager at Herlev Hospital, where he was responsible for the new regional sterile centre.
Before this he was for 10 years with Arup, first in the UK, then Russia and finally 1½ years as a construction consultant on a large office building in Istanbul. He has also been with Birch & Krogboe (now Alectia) for over 25 years and has a broad knowledge of complex building projects, which now benefits the Team Bispebjerg Acute Consortium.
