Berlin's history has given it a diverse architectural expression. The city is 9 times larger than Paris, and while districts like Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg have already undergone a huge transformation since the fall of the Wall, gentrification in peripheral areas like Wedding is still in its early stages. In other words, there's plenty of inspiration and perspective to be had if you're interested in architecture and urban development.

The Health Building of the Year 2022 will now be the main focus of a new thesis, which will provide insight into how the new Sct. Hans is experienced and used in practice, and whether it is in line with the intentions behind it.
As an architect at KHR, Kristian has jumped straight from a German school project to a Norwegian hospital project - and it suits him just fine. He thrives on large, complex projects and finds that the cultural differences help to challenge his own methods and trigger good discussions.
