KHR Architecture has advised real estate investor Verdion based on a technical due diligence review of 16,000 m2 of warehouse and office space in Skanderborg.
Technical due diligence for Verdion
Property investor Verdion specialises in industrial and logistics property, with headquarters in London and operations across Europe. Last year Verdion established a Danish head office in Copenhagen and has now expanded its presence in Jutland through the acquisition of 16,180 m2 of warehouse and office space for €12 million from Hanssen Ejendomme.
"The property offers a good combination of warehouse and office space with an attractive location in Central Jutland, and we have been pleased to help the deal between Verdion and Hanssen Logistik along with a technical review of the premises," said Peter Nielsen, Sales Director and Head of KHR Architecture's client advisory services.
Strategic location for first purchase in Jutland
Peter Michael Tetzlaff, Head of Investment - Nordics at Verdion, explained in a press release: “The Aarhus logistics market is increasingly attractive as the surge in ecommerce continues and supply across Denmark tightens. This modern, multi-let asset – which was secured in an off-market transaction – offers strong potential for value-add and occupies a strategic location on the E45 motorway, close to Denmark’s second largest city with good links to the country’s main port. We are pleased to be marking our first acquisition in Jutland, an area we will be focusing on further in the months ahead.
