A new school in Nuuk is taking off and our developer, Nuuk City Development, has sent a drone over the construction site where the outlines of the big new school are taking shape.
Atuarfik Inussuk will house 1200 students, which will consist of 7 individual houses in a well thought out flow.
Right now, work is underway to get as far as possible before winter sets in. General contractor Ístak is working hard to put windows in and trapezoidal sheets on the two houses, so they can walk in the warmth and put up walls while winter rages outside.
Nuuk School on the Plain will be a large school broken up into individual buildings, providing a safe environment for children of each age.
