Overview

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs experienced challenges with the goods drop-off at Asiatisk Plads. Parcel couriers struggled to find the right entrance and understand how to drop off parcels. The result was frequent intercom calls and the need for manual assistance. With a new wayfinding solution, a clearer and more intuitive process has been created, combining clear supergraphics with practical solutions to make life easier and more efficient for both suppliers and employees.

Clear path to goods receipt

Another major challenge was that many suppliers simply couldn't find the goods receipt itself. To solve this problem, the entrance has been marked with new typographic super graphics that can be seen from a distance. In addition, a larger sign has been placed at the gate to make it clear where to drop off parcels. This simple change reduces the amount of misunderstandings and improves the flow for couriers. Overall, it makes it easier and faster to find your way.

Order in the pallet boxes

The handling of pallet boxes also caused confusion in the past. Suppliers were unsure whether the boxes were part of the delivery procedure, which created uncertainty. With a fixed location for the pallet boxes where they are close at hand for suppliers, both physical and visual order has been created. It is clear that the boxes are part of the process and they are always in the same place.

Supergraphics as a guide

An essential part of the solution is a new visual communication of the delivery process itself. Through the combination of clear typography and simple pictograms, parcel couriers are guided step by step so that it is obvious where to place the parcels. The super graphics make it possible to handle parcels independently and correctly, even for those visiting the ministry for the very first time. This reduces the need for manual instruction and ensures a better flow throughout the delivery process.
