The Norwegian Children's Hospital Glasblokkene makes its TV debut in NRK's new documentary series Barnesykehuset, which premieres this week. The series follows eight employees in their daily work with young patients and their families. At KHR ARchitecture, we are eagerly waiting for DR to hopefully buy the rights so we can see 'our' hospital in action.
Schulzentrum Mittelangeln near the Danish-German border will have three new school buildings designed by KHR Architecture and bpplan. The project, which was won in a tender competition, comprises a total of 12,700 square metres across three buildings and phases. The client focuses on a short construction time and a high standard of sustainability, which is met by using prefabricated wooden modules.
Thanks to our new collaboration with the engineering group ARX, specialists in tunnels and infrastructure, KHR Architecture is now resuming its focus on infrastructure projects, where we have previously realised renowned projects such as the Copenhagen Metro. The collaboration between ARX and KHR provides a solid foundation for delivering strong, holistic solutions. We are therefore looking for a civil engineer to develop the infrastructure segment and secure exciting projects in the Nordic region.
KHR Architecture continues its strategic growth by expanding its management team and partners. Architects Morten Nøhr Frandsen and Kristian Nielsen Kjær join as partners, while architect Henrik Andersen takes on the role of Technical Director, and client advisor Trine Christensen takes on a newly created role as Head of Project Management in KHR's client consultancy.
