Parking can be purchased in a multi-storey car park just down the road, and the office is easy to reach by public transport: the 2a runs almost to the door, the Christianshavn metro is 1.5 km away or take the Harbour Bus to the Opera five minutes' walk from the office. The Inderhavnsbroen means the office is only five minutes by bike from Kongens Nytorv and there is bike parking right by the office.

Interview with architect Douglas Brandon

Concept architect Douglas Brandon took a detour from Texas and a career in the consulting industry, before studying architecture in Seattle and interning in Copenhagen, where he fell in love with the Danish architectural spirit. He has been with KHR since 2016 and appreciates that he has been able to try out different roles and types of assignments, as he knows it from his time as a consultant.

Join us on a construction site in Nuuk

Nuuk School has been designed with an eye for differentiated forms of learning and as a gathering place for the entire neighbourhood. A number of specially developed techniques and solutions in both architecture and interior design make the project a school in a class of its own.

KHR launches new gender equality policy

Women's Day is still relevant - not least in our industry. At KHR Architecture, we have very appropriately just published a new gender equality policy to keep us on track towards the goals of greater diversity and equal rights for all, which we have long been working towards in a less formalised way.

Nomad Workspace

KHR Architecture has been the architectural consultant for the transformation of a listed neoclassical courthouse into a modern office community. Nomad Workspace is an office environment of approximately 2,500 square metres divided into private and open office areas, work lounges, café, common areas, meeting facilities and event spaces. We transformed the interior of the building from cellular offices to an open office landscape - bringing the building back to its original spaciousness and character, in a reinterpreted version.

KHR Architecture hires experienced urban planner

KHR welcomes urban planning expert Elisabeth Jeppesen, who will advise and assist private developers and municipalities with zoning and the early stages of project development.
