The trip consisted of a road trip on Highway 1 from Los Angeles to San Francisco with a few detours along the way - including a day trip to San Diego and the Salk Institute, 2 days of wild nature experiences in Yosemite National Park and an overnight stay at the absolutely stunning Sea Ranch.
In Los Angeles, the stay offered exciting "Case Study Houses" and unique villas by John Lautner, Ray & Charles Eames and Schindler, among others.
In San Francisco we trod the iconic streets and alleys. The stay included an exciting visit to Gehl Studio, a tour of the DeYoung Museum by Herzog & de Meuron, a bike ride over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and much more.
After such a concentrated 2-week trip, we feel enriched and inspired...
