KHR has prepared a proposal for the total renovation of the former Philips light bulb factory in Holmbladsgade on Amager. 15 years ago, KHR upgraded the property's then 1980s facades and foyer area. The current project has brought the building back to its original 1950s look with large dark steel framed windows and white plastered facade, creating a building that represents the industrial look of preservation in an area of newer commercial buildings. Following the introduction of the new project, 85 percent of the 19,000-square-foot old incandescent bulb factory has been leased in just a few months.
