From potential to project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Transformation often begins with a series of questions \u2013 not with a ready-made solution. We can be involved right from the initial analyses and help to identify the building\u2019s potential and develop the scenarios that can form the basis for further decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This may include, amongst other things, space planning<\/a> and optimisation of existing floor space, changes of use, modernisation of fa\u00e7ades and technical systems, energy optimisation, or conversion and extension works<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Build on the qualities that are already there<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Existing buildings contain materials, architecture, history and identity that may be worth building on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This applies not least to listed buildings and those worthy of preservation. In the renovation of \u00d8sterport Station<\/a> and the transformation of Grey Friars School<\/a> and Nomad Workspace<\/a> For example, we have worked to preserve and enhance the buildings\u2019 original architectural qualities, whilst adapting them to contemporary functions and requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also apply this approach to buildings that do not have official listed status. The aim is not to preserve as much as possible at any cost, but to understand what is worth preserving.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
