Buildings with a good architectural flow and a well-thought-out layout are easier to orientate and therefore have less need for signage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can use the floor actively to point the way, or use elements such as planting, furniture or lighting to emphasise a direction. Age, cultural and linguistic background are just some of the parameters that give widely differing prerequisites for decoding signs and symbols. For example, you can work with colour schemes to mark a specific function, use figurative, aural, tactile or interactive digital elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Works of art and architecture can also help users find their way around a place by creating easily recognisable landmarks.
