KHR Architecture's client consultancy has acted as buyer advisor to the pension fund PenSam in connection with the acquisition of 78 condominiums and 15 parking spaces in the fine functionalist residential block Dronningegården in central Copenhagen. KHR Architecture has performed a due diligence building review of the total 6,462 square metres of rental space, including a drone inspection of the roofs of the listed buildings from 1943 and 1956. The buyer counselling also included guidance on operation and maintenance budgets.
Gartnerhaven is a new green residential area where KHR Architecture will design 18,000 square metres of housing. Elisabeth Jeppesen from KHR Byplan, as a consultant for Sweco, has been involved right from the development of a new master plan for the area and has steered the developer group behind the project safely throughout the process, ensuring a good dialogue with and the right deliverables to Hvidovre Municipality's administration.
Preparations are now being made to realise the local plan, where KHR Architecture is the architectural consultant for property developer Core Bolig X, which is developing one of the four building sites in Gartnerhaven.
Spread across three different building typologies, a total of 192 new apartments and 32 townhouses will be created.
Hvidovrevejs Butikstorv is to be renewed and the area extended with an additional 8400 sqm for housing, business and parking.
KHR Architecture has designed a terraced building with 86 new apartments based on an efficient modular concept. The community is supported by a community centre and a green courtyard, while the local environment is enhanced by a new urban square. The plan is to give a facelift to the existing buildings, so that the development has a uniform look.
Apollogasse is a street in historic Vienna with turn-of-the-century residential buildings, characterised by muted ornamentation and plastered facades in warm light shades.
