In connection with Quantum Immobilien AG's purchase of Beckmann' Tower and Wilhelm House in Carlsberg City, KHR Architectures acted as technical advisor. The client consultancy included a review of structural, mechanical and electrical systems as well as an assessment of the environmental impact and sustainability of the property. The results of the technical due diligence helped confirm the quality and sustainability of the property and contributed to Quantum's decision to invest in the property. The project is a great example of the peace of mind that an efficient but thorough technical evaluation can bring to complex property transactions.

KHR's dedicated client advisor utilised the expertise of colleagues in the concept department to create visualisations of the property's common areas, which can be seen on this page. The images were an important tool in the letting process to give potential tenants an idea of how the common area would function after the project was completed and what kind of atmosphere they could expect.
Gartnerhaven is a new green residential area where KHR Architecture will design 18,000 square metres of housing. Elisabeth Jeppesen from KHR Byplan, as a consultant for Sweco, has been involved right from the development of a new master plan for the area and has steered the developer group behind the project safely throughout the process, ensuring a good dialogue with and the right deliverables to Hvidovre Municipality's administration.
Preparations are now being made to realise the local plan, where KHR Architecture is the architectural consultant for property developer Core Bolig X, which is developing one of the four building sites in Gartnerhaven.
Spread across three different building typologies, a total of 192 new apartments and 32 townhouses will be created.
KHR has supported Novo Nordisk Fonden and Region Zealand as architectural consultant in connection with the establishment of Steno Diabetes Center Zealand, especially at hospitals in Køge, Nykøbing F., Holbæk, Roskilde and Slagelse as well as in psychiatry. The aim has been to ensure high architectural quality and a common thread across the centres.
KHR has advised the property investor AEW in connection with the acquisition of Copenhagen Cargo Center and has since been the project manager for the construction of an additional hall of 5000 sqm. KHR's client advisors have carried out a technical and environmental due diligence, completed a regulatory project, handled construction economy, schedules and sustainability certification.
A/B Amaliegade 26-36 is in the process of an extensive expansion and renovation of their cooperative. The building in central Copenhagen has 90 units and is planning to expand with additional apartments by extending the old dry ceilings under the roof. In addition, there will be a major renovation of the existing conditions as well as an improvement of the apartments with elements such as attics, private roof terraces, French balconies. A/B Amaliegade has an architect on the case, but has asked KHR Architecture to help as an independent advisor to first clarify the scope of the renovation and extension and then to keep the relatively complex project on track in terms of quality, finances and schedules.
KHR project management has supported the asset manager Savills Investment Management in the acquisition process of 57 Rema 1000 stores across Denmark. Savills is headquartered in London but focuses on supermarkets through its European retail fund and has acquired 43 and 14 Danish properties with Rema 1000 stores within a year. KHR Architecture has carried out technical due diligence and ESG for all properties in both phases in close cooperation with Savills. In total, properties worth approximately DKK 1.5 billion have been acquired.
